2018.September.30:
Justine Cassell, associate dean of technology strategy and impact at the School of Computer Science and director emerita of the Human-Computer Interaction Institute, was one of three keynote speakers of Grace Hopper Celebration 2018 this year. Her keynote on Friday, September 28, was part of the “The Future as We See It” session and PitcHER Competition winners recognition ceremony.
Her talk is available on YouTube (the video automatically starts from the beginning of the talk).
Wonderful to see one of @cmuhcii ‘s best, Dr. Justine Cassell, share her research on how humans socialize. “Social skills are what gets work done.” Yes!! Human behavior is not “soft!” #ghc18 #cmu #hcii #tartanpride #womenintechandacademia #forenfrontofherfield pic.twitter.com/BGvjqgQmqK
